In a somber but significant excavation, the remains of 152 German soldiers who perished on the Eastern Front during World War II have been unearthed from a village cemetery. These soldiers, who had been lying in unmarked and forgotten graves since 1945, are now set to be reburied in a central German military cemetery under the care of the Volksbund.
