"The Alpha Rivalry: Marked by My Nemesis" Chapter 6
Chapter 6: The Unholy Alliance
The heavy oak door of the student council room locked with a sharp, definitive click.Ash threw his weight forward, his uniform shoes skidding slightly on the polished floorboards as he slammed both palms against the mahogany table.
His fingers hooked violently into the lapels of Seb’s tailored blazer, twisting the dark wool until his knuckles lost all color.
"You stay out of it... you stay the hell away from my business, Sebastian," Ash hissed, a vicious, frantic tremor rattling through his chest as he pulled Seb down.
His breathing came in ragged, uneven hitches, hot air hitting the silver frames of Seb's glasses and clouding the lenses with mist.
"Not a word to Bennett... not a single, solitary word to Caleb, or I swear to God I will dismantle you."
Seb didn't pull back against the sudden force, his boots remaining perfectly rooted to the floor.
He slowly lifted his hands, his long, pale fingers settling gently over Ash's trembling fists with a cold, terrifyingly steady pressure.
The thin gold chain of his glasses swung against his sharp jawline, catching the dim afternoon light filtering through the high window.
"Or you'll what... throw another punch, Ash?" Seb murmured, his smooth, low velvet tone completely unbothered by the aggression.
He tilted his chin down, his gray eyes tracking the violent, frantic jump of the pulse point exposed by Ash's unbuttoned collar.
"Look at your hands... you can barely hold my jacket without shaking."
Ash wrenched his arms back as if he had been burned, stumbling half a step into the shadow of the velvet curtains.
The acrid, synthetic mask of artificial pine had completely evaporated, leaving his skin entirely defenseless against his own biology.
The room was filling fast with the thick, suffocatingly sweet fragrance of a wild rose blooming under the raw terror of exposure.
He slammed his fist against the edge of the mahogany table, sending a small plastic pen holder rattling across the wood.
"I don't need your commentary," Ash spat, his jaw locking so tight the muscles in his neck strained against his skin.
"Name your price... just tell me what the hell you want to keep that mouth shut, and let's get this over with."
Seb stepped out of the table's shadow, his long legs closing the distance between them with absolute, calculated precision.
His broad frame completely blocked the pathway to the locked exit, his silhouette casting a long shadow over Ash's chest.
He didn't unleash his pheromones, keeping his own secondary traits buried deep behind a wall of pure, unyielding discipline.
"The chemical blockers you're using are complete garbage," Seb said, his fingers reaching up to smoothly adjust the bridge of his glasses.
"They're burning through your lining... Sterling is going to catch the scent before the first bell tomorrow morning."
Ash gripped the high leather back of a student council chair, his chest heaving as a sudden wave of dizziness made his knees wobble.

"I can handle Sterling," Ash growled through gritted teeth, his stormy blue eyes flashing with a desperate, dying spark of pride.
"I don't need your help."
"You'll let me scent your clothes," Seb interrupted, his voice dropping into a flat, iron command that brooked zero argument.
The words hung in the quiet room, heavy and absolute, cutting through Ash's frantic defense like a blade through silk.
"Every morning... right here, in this room... my cedar over your uniform jacket."
Ash's head snapped up, his mouth opening in an unscripted gasp of pure, unadulterated humiliation.
"You're out of your mind," Ash choked out, his fingers digging into the leather chair until the stitching creaked.
"You want me to... to walk around this campus smelling like your property? Like I'm crawling to you?"
Seb took one final step forward, his chest nearly brushing against Ash's unbuttoned shirt, his presence completely overwhelming the narrow space.
"You'll smell like an Alpha who just spent the night training in my ring," Seb whispered, his low voice vibrating directly against Ash's burning ear.
"A dominant Alpha... or you can walk out that door right now and let Sterling have his turn."
Ash's teeth ground together with a harsh, clicking sound, his eyes darting toward the brass handle of the locked door behind Seb.
The reality of the corridor outside—the waiting packs, the gossip, the immediate destruction of his entire life—pressed heavily against his skull.
He was completely trapped, forced to sign away his independence to his worst enemy just to keep his head above water for another twenty-four hours.
Slowly, Seb reached up, his long, pale fingers gripping the lapels of his own heavy uniform jacket.
He slid the dark wool off his broad shoulders, the fabric rustling softly against the quiet of the locked room.
Without waiting for Ash to nod, Seb draped the heavy, structured blazer over Ash's trembling, heat-ravaged shoulders.
The thick, freezing scent of pristine cedar instantly swamped Ash's senses, sinking into the fibers of his shirt and binding with the hidden rose.
Ash froze under the sudden, massive weight of the garment, his breath catching in his throat as his body instinctively shivered against the foreign warmth.
