"Forbidden Pulse: Don't, Uncle!" Chapter 44
Chapter 44: He Is Quite Good
"Willow."
Luna Hayes was tapping on the car window from the outside.
She was wearing an off-the-shoulder top, exposing her shoulders.
Her lower half was an ultra-short bodycon skirt, exceptionally sexy and alluring.
When she bent her waist slightly, Willow could even see the white tube top she wore underneath.
"Luna, you..."
Willow got out of the car, pulled her to the side, and said in a low voice, "You just exposed yourself."
"What do you know?"
Luna looked at her speechlessly. "I did it on purpose. This trick works best against a conservative guy like your uncle."
After saying that, she swayed her hips and walked over to Julian Kingston's side, deliberately tugging down her collar.
"Mr. Kingston, this is my first time riding a horse. Could you teach me in a bit, please?"
Julian handed the car keys to the valet staff, his gaze not even glancing toward her fractionally.
He beckoned to Willow: "Come select your horse."
Luna was a bit dazed.
He didn't even bite?
Could Julian Kingston be dysfunctional in that department?
Slipping over to Willow's side, she voiced her suspicion: "Willow, is your uncle suffering from a kidney deficiency? The kind of deficiency where he can't even get it up for women?"
"No, he's quite good."
The words slipped out of Willow's mouth instinctively.
Immediately reacting to what she had just said, she frantically covered her mouth.
But Luna's suspicious gaze had already landed on her.
"How do you know?"
"I—I..." Willow stammered for a good while before finally finding an excuse. "He practices traditional Chinese medicine and his medical skills are incredible, so his physical health definitely wouldn't be bad."
"Is that so?"
Luna murmured.
The reason seemed plausible enough.
But she still felt something was a bit off.
"Don't think too much, Luna, let's go select the horses." Willow nudged her in the direction of the stables.
Julian was not far from them.
The young girl's voice wasn't loud, but he heard it with perfect clarity.
It seemed she was very satisfied with him.
...
Willow's equestrian skills weren't very proficient, so she specifically selected a small pony.
Julian frowned upon seeing this and had someone bring over the horse he usually rode.
"How about this one?"
Looking at the tall, powerful horse in front of her, Willow shook her head. "Uncle Julian, you think far too highly of me, don't you?"
The horse's shoulder height was 1.7 meters, and she was 1.69 meters.
Are we sure she could get up there?
The moment her words fell, the horse suddenly let out a loud whinny.
Startled, Willow instinctively took a step back. "What's wrong with it?"
"Miss Avery, my apologies," the handler walked over and grabbed the reins. "This horse understands human nature. It can see that you don't like it, so it's throwing a tantrum."

"Please do me a favor," he looked at Willow apologetically. "It has a good memory. If you don't select it today, it won't eat or drink for several days, and I'll get scolded too."
Willow was incredibly amazed.
This was her first time hearing such a claim.
Thinking that it would affect the horse, she nodded without much further thought. "Alright."
The handler let out a sigh of relief. "Thank you very much, Miss Avery."
This was a task instructed by the third young master, and it was settled successfully after all.
Luna also found it novel and called out to the handler, "Pick one that understands human nature for me too."
The handler inquired carefully about her requests and her physical condition, then picked a small pony for her.
"Miss Hayes, since it's your first time riding, a horse with a gentle temperament and lower shoulders is suitable for you."
Luna shook her head. "Forget it, I'll pick one myself."
If she rode a safe and stable one, how would she get hurt?
If she didn't get hurt, how would Julian get an opportunity to play the hero saving the beauty?
After searching around, she specifically selected one that looked exceptionally wild and untamed.
The handler advised, "Miss Hayes, this horse was bought not long ago. The trainer hasn't finished breaking it in yet; it's very dangerous."
"I just like this one," Luna blinked her eyes at him. "Don't worry, small animals love me. The horse won't hurt me."
Since she insisted on it and the handler saw that Julian didn't speak up against it, he just let her have her way.
"Alright, Miss Hayes. I'll lead it to the stables for you in a bit. Shall you go change your clothes first?"
"Willow," Luna trotted over to Willow's side and hooked her arm through hers. "Let's go change our clothes."
"Okay."
Willow was pulled by Luna into the changing room.
When the two changed their clothes and walked out, Luna looked at Willow and couldn't help but let out a series of clicking sounds from her tongue.
"How was your boyfriend willing to break up with you?"
Equestrian attire was a tight-fitting style.
The weather was still a bit warm right now, so the long-sleeved tops prepared by the stables were form-fitting.
Although she was a dance student, she wasn't flat-chested.
It was quite eye-catching.
"Your place here," Luna poked her ambiguously, "have you never been requested to lose weight before?"
"Luna!"
Willow's cheeks flushed red, and she covered her chest as she walked outward. "Don't talk nonsense..."
Just as she stepped out, her head was braced by a palm.
Julian's deep voice sounded from above her head.
"Watch where you're going."
"Uncle Julian?"
Willow instinctively lifted her head.
The man was wearing equestrian attire of the same color scheme and style as hers.
A deep blue top and white breeches.
Due to the form-fitting nature against his body, his abdominal muscles were outlined somewhat prominently.
And his lower half...
Willow swallowed unconsciously.
"What are you looking at? Mm?"
Hearing Julian's words, Willow's panicked eyes darted all over the place, finally landing on his boots.
"I'm looking at your boots. These boots are so handsome; they truly suit you well."
"Is that so?"
Julian bent his waist slightly. "I thought you were looking at my..."
