"Hidden Among Alphas: The Last Woman in Tixia" Chapter 1
Hilda transmigrated into a world inhabited only by men.
She was helpless and desperate.
Driven by a hunger she could no longer endure, she ignorantly wandered into a high-end male brothel.
Talon looked down at the trembling little figure beneath him and couldn't help but sneer, "What happened to you? Were you castrated? You don't even have a rod."
At this moment, the Duke had not yet realized that he didn't seem to like men.
——
0001 She Ran a Hamster House
In the bustling Hundred Birds Market, there was a pet shop called "Fluffy Hamster Haven."
Although it was a shop for hamsters, about a dozen cats roamed the premises, lounging lazily and grooming themselves.
"Jack, you really need to go on a diet."
"Oh, little baby, you have to learn to suckle, not just bite the nipple."
"Rowdy, look at what you’ve done! I really should have had you fixed sooner. I thought Alice was just getting fat, but no. I'm a hamster seller, not a kitten breeder."
After feeding the kittens, Hilda left her clerk, Amy, in charge of the shop. She picked up a pet carrier and prepared to head to the animal hospital to give Alice an ultrasound to see exactly how many kittens she was carrying.
She wore a beautiful beige floral dress, and her long golden hair was brushed perfectly straight.
Checking her phone, she saw it was only ten in the morning. After Alice's check-up and a quick lunch, it would be just in time for her meeting with Christian.
Today was the day Christian was taking her to meet his parents; they were getting engaged.
The thought made her beam with joy. She liked Christian very much; he was a true gentleman, incredibly handsome, and a renowned fashion designer.
Hilda had never dreamed she would marry someone so perfect. After all, she was just a hamster seller from a poor background, raised in an orphanage. She never had grand ambitions—her greatest goal was simply to have a job she loved and to build a small home with the person she cared for.
Today, her dream was about to come true.
She hummed a little tune as she prepared to push open the sliding door of the animal hospital.
Suddenly, Alice began to hiss and wail inside the carrier. The cat’s fur stood on end, her pupils dilating.
"What’s wrong, sweetie?" Hilda stopped. She set the carrier on the ground and knelt, reaching out to soothe Alice, thinking the cat was just stressed.
A cloud drifted across the sky, casting a massive shadow over the hospital. A gust of wind caught Hilda’s golden hair. Before she could even touch the latch of the carrier, the light returned.
The animal hospital was bright once more.
"Good heavens, which heartless soul left a cat at our doorstep again?"
"We aren't a shelter for strays!"

"God should condemn irresponsible owners!"
"Oh, Jesus... she’s pregnant."
——— Tixia Continent ———
"Hey, look at this! I’ve summoned a golden-haired demon!"
Hilda’s head spun violently. As she looked up, she met a pair of bloodshot, murky eyes. The air was thick with the stench of alcohol. Terrified, she let out a series of sharp screams.
"Hurry up and turn into gold!" the old man barked, grabbing Hilda’s slender wrist. "I spent a fortune on this summoning circle from the Tower of Magic!!"
What was he talking about? Gold? Summoning circles? She couldn't understand a word of it.
Her first instinct was that she had encountered a lunatic.
Fortunately, the madman looked frail and was clearly drunk. She easily shoved him back into a pile of jars that looked like apothecary vials and bolted out the door without looking back.
The air outside was pungent and foul. The buildings looked like half-finished ruins, and the ground was littered with scrap and debris. It reminded her of a slum.
She didn't understand how she ended up here. A second ago, she had been standing at the door of the hospital.
The streets were filled with men. Many were dressed provocatively, some wearing nothing but tattered rags. They stared at her as if she were some kind of freakish specimen.
After wandering for what felt like hours, she finally spotted a person with long hair standing with their back to her.

0002 This Must Be a Chaotic Hell
Hilda’s heart leaped. She wanted to ask the woman where they were, but before she could move, a man approached the figure. He leaned in and bit the person's neck. Then, she witnessed the most absurd thing of her life.
They began to have sex right there in the street. But there were no feminine moans; instead, she saw a rod between the "woman’s" legs.
Hilda felt her stomach turn. Nauseated and dazed, she scrambled into a dark corner of the alley.
As the hours passed and the sky grew darker, she watched the crowds go by with numb eyes, her ears filled with the sounds of men’s heavy breathing.
This must be a chaotic hell.
———
Hilda was woken up by hunger.
Her hair was a mess, and her dress was filthy.
She had to crawl out from her corner like a little mouse, hugging the walls as she searched for food. She found nothing. With every step, the idle men on the street watched her with unsettling expressions. They seemed confused by her clothes, but what stifled Hilda the most was the realization that they were actually staring at her chest.
She began to cover herself with her hands. She realized there were no women in this world; it was nothing but men.
She needed different clothes and something to bind her chest.
She crossed a long street and spotted a hospital at the end. She crept to the back and scavenged through the bins, finding a roll of gauze and a set of oversized hospital scrubs.

Hiding behind the tall bins, she peeled off her mud-stained floral dress.
Her small hands trembled as she hugged the dress one last time—the dress she was supposed to wear to her engagement. She folded it neatly and placed it beside the bin, a symbol of her shattered dreams.
Hilda left the hospital and eventually found shelter under a bridge. There, she found a pair of rusty scissors.
Strands of golden hair blew away in the wind like willow catkins in spring. Looking at her reflection in the river, the long hair she took such pride in was gone, replaced by a ragged short cut and a look of profound sorrow.
She curled up under the bridge and sobbed until, exhausted, she fell into a tearful sleep.
——
A strong wind blew through the tunnel, and she forced her rose-red eyes open.
The sky was overcast, and a storm seemed imminent. She wore nothing but the thin scrubs, which offered no protection against the draft.
She had to find a real shelter, or she would freeze to death. And she was starving; she hadn't eaten anything in two days except for some river water.
With a thud, a half-eaten pancake was tossed from the bridge above. She lunged for it as if it were a lifeline, shoving it into her mouth.
"Disgusting," a man on the bridge scoffed.
"I told you not to throw things down there. The people here are no different from wild dogs."
"Let’s go. We need to get there before the city gates close. If we miss this recruitment fair, we won’t get another chance this year."
Hilda pricked up her ears. She poked her messy head out from under the bridge, pulled off her worn sandals, and began to follow the two men stealthily.

0003 The Rules of the Imperial Capital
Hilda followed them through a small thicket. At the end, she finally saw a glimmer of light. Beyond a high wall lay a landscape as dazzling as neon lights, resembling the bustling pedestrian streets of her own world. She swallowed hard; it looked like paradise.
She ran to the city gates. A massive crowd had gathered, all of them men. They varied wildly in appearance: some had long hair, some had thick beards, and some even had large bellies. She thought they were beer bellies, but clearly, they weren't.
Yet they were undeniably men.
Hilda was starting to grow accustomed to the strangeness.
The guards at the gate began to shout, "Obey the rules of the Imperial Capital, or face execution!"
"Rules?" Some outsiders seemed confused.
The crowd suddenly chanted in unison, like a mantra for entry: "A stray dog entering the city must bow. Defy the Duke, and your head will roll."
The guards lowered their crossed swords.
The men surged forward like a swarm of rats, pushing into the city.
Hilda blended into the crowd of tall men and successfully entered the magnificent Imperial Capital.
——
The interior was a world apart from the outskirts. The people here wore tidy, British-style clothing, the streets were clean, and she could smell the aroma of freshly baked pastries.
