Synopsis

By a cruel twist of fate, Tara becomes sensory-synced with the handsome stranger she forcibly kissed. From that moment on, her life is plunged into absolute chaos.

When she tries to paint, he’s in the ring throwing punches.

When she’s suffering from period cramps, he decides to run a forty-kilometer marathon.

His refusal to eat or rest properly leaves her starving and exhausted right along with him.

To make her own life bearable, Tara begins to treat him like a pampered king.

She sends him gourmet meals when he’s hungry.

She braves blizzards to bring him warm clothes when he’s cold.

She tenderly tends to his wounds when he’s hurt.

She tells him bedtime stories to soothe his insomnia.

She is tireless, gentle, and devoted.

Until one day, pushed to her breaking point, she pins him against a wall with tearful eyes and sobs, "Can't you just exercise a little restraint?"

In response, his large hand grips her waist, pulling her flush against his chest as he lets out a low, casual chuckle. "Sorry. I can't."

"This is a sickness—and you're the only cure."

Chapter 1: Synced with the Campus King

The night was heavy and silent in Room 105 of the Evercrest University dorms.

While her three roommates were fast asleep, Tara was forced into a state of agonizing wakefulness.

Her nightgown was a tangled mess, and waves of strange, overwhelming sensations pulsed through her body, reaching every nerve ending.

Tara’s face flushed a deep crimson as she bit her lip, desperate to stifle any shameful sound that might escape.

It had been nearly two hours, and he still hadn't stopped!

How could one man have this much stamina?

In her mind, the cold, distant face of Killian flickered.

If she hadn't experienced it firsthand over the past few days, she never would have believed that the supposedly stoic and celibate campus legend had such a... heavy appetite in private.

As for how Tara ended up "experiencing" his secrets, it all went back to three nights ago.

She had caught her boyfriend, Parker, cheating at a bar and dumped him on the spot.

The jerk had refused to let go, dragging out a pathetic scene of begging for forgiveness.

Nauseated by his behavior and desperate to end the confrontation, Tara had acted on a sudden impulse. She grabbed a handsome guy who looked like a club host, shoved three hundred dollars into his hand, and kissed him hard.

She had been too angry to see who he was. Only later did she realize that the man she’d kissed wasn't some paid entertainer—it was Killian, the star of Evercrest University.

And the most ridiculous part? Since that accidental kiss, her body had changed.

She was now physically synced with Killian!

At first, she hadn't realized the severity of the situation until...

Another wave of intoxicating, unfamiliar sensation hit her. Tara’s eyes welled with tears from the intensity. Finally, she couldn't hold it back anymore and let out a soft, broken cry.

It was utterly humiliating.

Killian seemed to have no concept of self-restraint.

Tara felt a mix of frustration and misery.

This couldn't go on!

Tomorrow, she would visit a temple or a shrine to see if there was some powerful master who could break this sensory link between her and Killian.

"Tara, wake up! You're going to be late. It's Professor Hunter’s class today. If you're late, you're dead!"

Early the next morning, two of her roommates had already left. Tara was being forced awake by Josie.

Seeing Tara’s haggard expression and the deep dark circles under her eyes, Josie looked confused.

"Why are your dark circles so bad? I thought you went to bed early last night?"

"It’s... a long story."

Feeling as though her soul had been sucked out, Tara said listlessly, "Josie, could you ask the counselor for a leave of absence for me? I need to go to a shrine today."

"Huh? What are you going to a shrine for?"

Tara yawned, her voice filled with gloom. "I'm being haunted."

Josie’s eyes widened. Her hand slipped while packing her paint bottles, nearly knocking them over.

"No way! Seriously? What kind of ghost?"

Tara replied, "A lecherous one."

Josie: "..."

It wasn't until nine in the evening that Tara finally returned, having spent the entire day scouring every temple and shrine in Evercrest.

"How was it, Tara? Is the problem fixed?"

The moment Tara stepped into the dorm, Josie rushed over, whispering with a worried face.

Tara shook her head tiredly.

Having found no solution, she dejectedly finished her nightly routine and climbed into bed.

Tonight, she was prepared for another night of insomnia.

As expected, she couldn't sleep, but it wasn't because of that anymore.

She curled up on her bed, clutching her stomach as sharp pangs of pain radiated through her.

Of course, the pain wasn't hers. It was coming from Killian.

Coupled with the fact that her stomach had felt empty all day, it was obvious Killian hadn't eaten properly, and now his stomach was acting up.

The pain lasted all night. Tara tossed and turned, breaking into cold sweats, only falling asleep as dawn broke.

But she hadn't slept long before Josie woke her again.

"Tara, get up! Sean’s basketball game is about to start!"

Josie climbed onto Tara’s bed and shook her shoulders like a whirlwind.

"Get up! We have to go cheer for him. We can't let the other department outshine us!"

Sean was the idol Josie admired. More importantly, he was Tara’s "big brother" from next door.

He was two years older than Tara. They had grown up together and were so close that they might as well be biological siblings.

For his game, Tara really did need to be there.

"I'm up," Tara sighed, accepting her fate.

However, what she didn't expect was that upon arriving at the court, she would see another familiar face.

The young man had sharp brows and cold eyes, his features as handsome as a painting. The muscles exposed beneath his black jersey were lean, firm, and pulsing with power.

With a tall, long-legged build and broad shoulders, he looked like a top-tier male model, drawing gasps of adoration from every girl in the stands.

"I can't believe Killian is actually playing for the Computer Science department! Oh my god, his looks are a literal crime!"

"Of course he’s playing! He and Sean are best friends!"

"It’s true what they say—handsome guys only hang out with other handsome guys. My eyes are so blessed today!"

The crowd was buzzing with excitement.

But once Tara realized who he was, she silently pulled the collar of her sun-protection jacket all the way up and lowered her head, burying half her face in the fabric.

Josie caught her doing it.

"Tara, are you cold?"

Tara coughed awkwardly. "A little."

Josie was baffled. "It’s so hot today, and you're cold?"

She looked at her friend with concern. "Babe, your constitution is way too weak!"

Tara didn't argue.

In a way, Josie was right.

Over the past few nights, she had indeed been worn down to the point of exhaustion.

As humiliating memories flooded her mind, Tara’s cheeks burned uncontrollably, and she lowered her head even further.

While she was talking to Josie, the game between Computer Science and Finance officially began.

The referee tossed the ball into the air for the opening tip-off.

Almost instantly, Killian, representing Computer Science, leaped into the air. He snatched the ball with ease, sprinted through the defense with clean dribbling, and finished with a slam dunk so fast it was a blur.

Before anyone could even react, the score was 1–0.

The stadium fell into a stunned silence.

Sean raised an eyebrow and snapped his fingers at Killian. "Not bad. That was a cool shot."

His words were like a stone dropped into a still lake. The silence broke, and the crowd erupted into deafening screams.

"Holy crap, that was amazing!"

"Look at that reaction speed! That explosive power is terrifying! Killian is the GOAT!"

The dominant dunk at the very start of the game set the stadium on fire.

Watching this, Tara’s lip couldn't help but twitch.

The man hadn't eaten all yesterday and had been in stomach pain all night. How could he still be this fierce and play this well?

Honestly, Killian was a monster.
